What a brilliant effort - mature but still with a lovely tannic frame. This is textbook Médoc - elegant violet, cassis, cedar, cigar box, black cherry and lead pencil. Beautiful, long finish. A terrific package

Last evening in Vegas with my son. Just he and I enjoying some QT together at Mon Ami Gabi. Wow. This delivered big time with an amazing steak frites. Earthy funk, dark red/blue fruit, flowers. Airtime opened it up to a full bodied dark red fruited beaut with svelte tannin grip, fantastic mouthfeel and length. A stunner and one of the better Bordeaux’s I’ve had in quite some time. And I didn’t have to share with anyone tonite!

Disappointing! I used to be a big fan of this producer, but recent bottles have been lacking.

1 hour decant. Dark purple color. Nose has oak, vanilla, and plum. The body lacks depth and has almost no fruit. More New World than Old World. Short finish. My rating might be harsh at 91, but just had higher expectations.

Light fragrance. Drinks nicely with flavors of dark cherry, currant and berries...
Finishes with earthiness, tart and slightly tannic, yet pretty smooth.

Wonderful complexity changing over the consumption of the bottle, and always a good change.

Double decant (lots of fine sediments) and pour. Dark ruby red. On the nose: strawberry, mint, cassis. Taste: strawberry, cherry, vanilla, cedar, violets, with medium tannins..medium finish.
