2020 vintage. Big, darkly-fruited nose that rolls over to the flavors. Medium body. Great complexity for initial and mid-palates, Finish is where things drop off a cliff. Solid banger for the price. If only some of that impressive, frontal assault could be transferred to the back end, we'd be in clover. Nice, first-time BDX to get the palate rolling/draw people in tho. 3.15.24. — 13 days ago
Solid Left-Bank example from Wegman’s. Aging well. Bordeaux out-competing California for the premium grocery store market. — 12 days ago

Allen Brothers Lamb Lollipops and the 05 vintage from Bordeaux. 🤔 😋
The 2005 vintage was magical w/ star producers. Very good with the lesser regions like Caronne.
Pretty sure I paid around $25 for this give or take.
The entry is round, lush & rich. Blackberries, black raspberries, black plum, dark cherries and poached strawberries. Dark rich earth, moist clay, lead pencil, tobacco/cigar ash, used leather, dry river stone, dark chocolate cooking bar, black licorice, limestone powder, dry herbs, very light baking spices, dark, red, purple withering flowers, round acidity, balanced, highly structured & tensioned finish that lasts a minute.
This could actually use some more time in bottle, 3-5 yrs. — 19 days ago
This is delicious.
Showing a beautiful nose with an elegant mouthfeel.
A blend of 65% Cabernet Sauvignon with Merlot and Petit Verdot.
This 9 year old from the great 2015 is very impressive. I had the 2007 a few years ago, and it did not show as well as this.

Medium ruby garnet , quite light garnet , terracotta rim . Quite spicy , tobacco , earthy , sous bois tinged nose . On the palate quite strict , slightly lean red fruited sous bois , tobacco , earthy coffee tinged. Refreshing high acidity , slightly gritty , and drying tannin . Ok length and balance . Showing quite well , at peak, now and over the next 5 years . — 7 days ago
