Dry on the palate with raspberries, strawberries, citrus, green apples, lemons, herbs, sea salt, earth, yeast and minerals.

Nice finish with limes and almonds.

This is a very tasty Rosé Champagne. Rich and complex. Nicely balanced and easy drinking right out of the bottle.

On the palate, it is seamless and sovereign. Red and black fruits are fully resolved into essence rather than flavor; currant, cherry skin, a touch of plum; all wrapped in polished leather and earth. The tannins have dissolved into silk, the acidity remains statuesque, and the finish lingers with a calm, noble persistence that feels endless rather than long.

Smoky graphite and mineral opening with fully integrated tannins and overall cohesion. Lovely floral and berry mix with mulberry, cassis and currant, lavender, rose, and violet. Strong showing on a 38 year old wine.

I love Rosè from Bandol! Combination of Grenache, Mourvedre, and Cinsault lends to a bit of richness. Nice salinity. Herbs, raspberries, cantaloupe, and slate. Presents with a nice "your tongue is stuck" to the roof of your mouth finish. Really enjoyable for under $15! — 2 months ago

A small portion of Pinot Noir (which makes up approximately 80% of the blend) still wine is added for color; the balance is Chardonnay. Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of an hour. The Grand Rosé pours a pretty pink color with a persistent mousse. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of raspberry, red apple, a mix of orchard citrus fruit, marzipan, a hint of brioche and lovely minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+ and round. Very easy to like. Drink now. Disgorged February of 2025. — 6 months ago

Long finish with limes.

This is a delicious Rosé Champagne. Elegant, and a tad over it's peak. Complex and interesting.

Good by itself as a sipping wine or with food.

A blend of 47% Pinot Noir, 33% Chardonnay and 20% Pinot Meunier. Disgorged in 2013.

Nose has plum peel, ripe crushed raspberry, dehydrated strawberry, cold hotel biscuits, fresh almonds and distant dried grapefruit rind.

Palate has dried raspberries, ripe red currant, dried tangerine, dried strawberries and moist chalk with medium finish.

We have all sorts of odd bottles in our cellar, many single, experimental iterations such a this. Not in the least disappointed for this showing today.

Exquisite and impressive. Firm color loaded with kirsch, red and dark currant flavors and the presence of horse sweat, horse blanket and leather. Even a red rose aroma. Tannin is light and impressively balanced. Holds its presence two hours plus decanted. With soft tannins that eventually fell into the glass. I predict this wine would hold well 15-20 years — 6 years ago
