Only had a taste but the reputation is undeniable. Giving and polished with no hard edges. Definitely robbing the cradle as the wine is dormant right now. I always confuse which wines from this region contain Sangiovese and this one does not. Wears the 14.5% abv. beautifully. Will enthrall with time but patience is suggested. — a month ago
See previous Note. Old plummie, red cherry notes. Barb said dusty and pine needles. A cooler vintage. I said red cherries and freshly tilled loam. As Galloni said “In 2010 Ama did not bottle their single vineyard selections. All the best fruit went here.” Tasting more the quality of a Brunello than a Chianti Classico. Very nice Bordeaux blend. Nice spicy aroma with good finish. Peppery at end. Still has tannins and should age for 5-10 years. Vintage. 2020 — 19 hours ago
Shows the benefits of blending. Well balanced, ripe berry and wet bark notes, spicy and full on palate. A bit alcoholic. — 7 days ago
Deep ruby color.
Aromas of black cherry, tomato leaf, herbal.
Dry. Flavors of black cherry, rosemary, peppercorn, tomato leaf, herbal. Rich, firm tannins.

Medium ruby color with slightly garnet rim. Dark berry and plum on the nose. Medium acid, tannins are softened but still present. It benefited from decanting. Tastes like dark fruit, dark chocolate, graphite, reminded me of some Bordeaux bottles. — 21 days ago
Soft, dry, sweet notes, Smokey and nice for grilled meet. Nothing better for a rainy Firenze afternoon — 2 days ago

Wine is dark ruby, with purplish on the edge. On nose its ripe fruit, floral parfumed, oak in there, violets, tobacco. On palate, wine is full bodied, jammy, fine acidity, tannic, wine is open up after 1 hour decant. The intensity is there. Its still too young to drink. Try it after 2026. Red bordeaux blend, Cheers! — 3 days ago
