Raspberry jam on the nose. Cherry and plum with nice acidity to start on the tongue blending out to cherry, raspberry, leather and oak then finishing in cocoa and a hint of oak. Medium tannins. Went well with my stuffed banana peppers. — 2 months ago
Fascinating to have a wine older than me. Smell was raisins - reminded me of amarone — 3 months ago
Golden coloration. On the nose, lemon, brioche, minerals. On the palate, nice creamy texture, fuller body, a touch of earthiness, but primarily long lasting citrus and lemon notes with minerality on the palate that finishes strong with those 3 notes ending with a crush of a acidity. — 4 months ago

Year in, year out, this is my fav Chianti Classico. To me it captures all what I look for in a good every day Sangiovese - freshness, a bit of tannic edge, juicy flow, a savory sweetness to the fruit. And food friendliness!
Enticing nose with red cherries, a bit of wet undergrowth & turned earth, a bit of tomato leaf, a flowery whiff. Joyful!
Medium bodied on the palate with great energy & flow. The tannins present, a touch rustic, but in a nice way, the acidity juicy & vibrant. Nice depth and long finish.
So drinkable but also has some seriousness to it.

Simple and classic chianti but that’s about it. Cherry red fruit and light oakiness. — 6 months ago

delicious: butterscotch - really sexy, orchard fruit juxtaposed w/salinity & minerals - full bodied, voluptuous, cellar temp was downright silky leading to long resonant finish. I've had this many times and they were always older & oxidized - would argue these are better younger — 2 days ago
