Mid to deep Ruby in colour. Plenty happening on the nose with menthol, balsamic notes, dried rose petals, cherry, loam and mushrooms. On the medium weight palate a savoury cherry note with liquorice finishing with very fine, light powdery earthy tannins. The description that sums up this wine best is classy restraint. It is Rabaja after all. The quality of the 55 year old vines showing through. Matured in large Austrian Oak botti so next to zero oak influence. An enjoyable wine. — 5 days ago
A very dark, brooding Barolo. Tarry, black fruited nose,.well developed tannins and looooong finish. Very autumnal palate of spice and underbrush.

Oh terrible, first sip. Need to wait. It takes time to decant it. 2015 @2000, Boboli, 201112 — 21 days ago
As good as it gets for a white wine with me. Bright yet rich, stone fruit, honey, zippiness at the back of the throat. Crushable, enjoyable. Not a single season type of wine. — 12 days ago

Got this a year ago as part of a natural wine club selection and am revisiting this gem. Pale red. Maraschino cherries and black pepper aroma. Natural but not too funky. Juicy red fruit and tart cherry. Light with well-integrated tannins, and SO drinkable. Amazing deal. — 16 days ago
That good little tingle and the price is right — 21 days ago
