Medium bodied, classic Sangiovese. Imported by Pilsner who always has a lively selection of wines. Cherry plum smooth. Goes well with all Italian foods. A winner will definitely buy more — 3 months ago
Another delicious Barbaresco that paired nicely with a Panko encrusted chicken paillard, steamed spinach and stuffing . Light color, bright flavor. — 5 months ago
Maybe it was the company, the weather, the food or my mood but boy did I really enjoy this wine! Beautifully dark cherry color. Perfect level of fruit so the wine is hugely versatile. The manager of crush wines in nyc ( one of my favorite wine stores) recommended it - and boy was he right! Really love it. To my taste exactly at this time and pace (NY). Oh and I know I should have cellared or a bit more but I went for it. — 6 months ago
Lively soft riojo. Enjoyed with some grilled meats outside. Yummy. — 2 months ago
Rich red berry fruit, 15% alcohol level which is quite high , soft well integrated tannin paired well with a mushroom and asparagus risotto. — 3 months ago
Juicy, bright, Sangiovese. Opens up beautifully. One of my favorites. Have bought multiple bottles over the years and doesn’t disappoint. Works well naturally with all Italian meals. I suppose I should have waited another year or two but I wanted to enjoy it last night! — 5 months ago
A light, bright, low acid Chablis. Nothing too remarkable but it paired nicely with some shrimp and rice pilaf. — 2 months ago
Very typical barolo. Nice tannins. Rich ruby color. Nice acidity. Enjoyed it with a classic Piedmont eggy pasta dish made with tagliolini pasta made with lemon zest, course ground black pepper and parm cheese. It was yummy and the wine was the X factor — 4 months ago
In a word - fabulous. Just loved it. I’m a huge fan of Pinot noir but this vintage totally outshines and out performs it has a medium cheery color but is light and lively on the tongue. I could drink it all day. Enjoy by itself and would pair with nearly anything. Yes- it’s that yummy. I really like it. — 6 months ago
