Fleshy and big at this point with amazing tannins. Too young. Cherry 🍒 driven at this point - the classic E&M black forest herbs are there. Seems to me comparable to a GC Vosne. This is a tremendous effort and will improve over time to a glorious benchmark Pinot. I suspect my rating will go up to a 9.8+ in 5 years. What a wine! Should have bought cases! — 10 days ago
The fruit & sense of place is so strong just from the nose…I could live here. Freshly picked strawberries, cardamon, old barn wood, but all so vibrant that it’s in 3D. Palate picks up the aromatics & redoubles them in intensity, along with black currants. So satisfying & generous, imagine in no small part helped by the six years of age.Lovely integrated mouthfeel too. — 12 days ago
Unbeatable at this price point. Ridiculous complexity. Strawberry, black forest herbs, touch crushed marble, hint white pepper, fresh juicy acidic ripe Italien prune plums. I have no idea how they do this. — 25 days ago
Funky skin contact Pinot Gris. Grapefruit and orange/lime, chewy with the most delightfully soft, full texture. No hard edges. You can have fun just rolling this around in your mouth after getting getting a nose of caramel/citrus/damp earth/funk nose.

Thoroughly enjoyed this bottle which reminded me of a more concentrated Oregon pinot. Focused on cherry and strawberries, and heavily earth bound. Dry and quenching, it kept me coming back even though each sip had a lasting finish. — 2 months ago

Very nice tonight with a pork schnitzel and excited to see how this develops. Opened 10 hours before dinner and decanted for 3 hours. I do think the air helped everything even out a bit. Nice restrained fruit, good linear core of minerality and acid, decently fresh with still some ever so slightly funky earth on the finish. — 5 days ago
