Stellar Barolo. Definitely of the new school, lighter color, lightly structured, but radiant fruit in a refined style. Decanted 2hrs. Perfect pairing for veal/osso buco, maybe less so for a roast. Some debate whether more age would refine the fruit further or cause it to dissipate. No idea but have two more so can experiment! There’s such a beguiling combination of savory earth, mineral and rich cherry fruit flavors, with killer concentration, a plush texture and serious length. Very classic Barolo of a small quantity, cherry fruity bit woodsy, cedar, new leather, mint and some tannin.
Nice and full body that lasts in the mounth.
With air it'll get even nicer.
