Fascinating to revisit this wine - still showing beautifully w/very consistent profile from previous occasions... so much time left on this. For those unfamiliar w/Fred Scherrer - he started at Dehlinger and then struck out on his own. He’s a UCD guy (my Alma Mater)... I used to rep his wine and it’s incredible across his portfolio. — 2 days ago
Paired with some subpar fettuccine Alfredo and some bangin cutlets. — 3 months ago

Drank with charcuterie 👌 much more flavor than a lot of other white wines I’ve had. Dry and a little bitter. — 3 months ago
Excellent balance of fruit and oak. Perfect example of a premium Sonoma Chardonnay. I buy it by the case. — 3 months ago
March 31, 2021. Neal and Amanda’s wedding. First night meal at Pangea Grill in Carmel. Great Pinot. $58 bottle. We had 2. — 16 days ago
Alma de Cattleya Sonoma County Chardonnay 2019: Intense aromas. Bright flavors. Nice balance & acidity. Lemon, caramel & oak with a creamy, round textured finish. 100% Chardonnay from Sonoma County. Overall, an impressive & lovely wine from a new, unfamiliar winery. Looking forward to trying a few of their other grape varietals. Cheers🍷 — 22 days ago
Nose of peach, strawberry, lavender, thyme, and even a subtle meaty note. Complex and inviting.
Very much in the provençal style. Good weight with medium acidity and a nice, creamy lactic quality. Those fruit and floral notes from the nose are up front as well. Finish is long and has hints of green herbs and meat.
Excellent rosé. Would be happy to drink this any time of the year with or without food. — 3 months ago
