Purchased after a private Estate Tasting with the estate manager. I’m gobsmacked. From the smell of the cork to the balanced notes on the nose it’s a delight. The taste. The finish. No words. A powerhouse. Poured 45 minutes before enjoying outside at Pasó del Rio for Mama Elvira’s 68th. Divine. Happy birthday mamá — 3 months ago
Mineral and slate on the nose. Smooth from the first sip right out of the bottle. Enjoyed with ripe nectarines, sharp cheese, and rosemary characters on summer evening while the sun went down. — 4 months ago
Your nose is immersed in dark berries. There’s a twinge of alcohol at the end. Full bodied no doubt and opens up as time goes on. Not as flavorful or smooth as the 2019. Expected more but enjoyed on this Thanksgiving day when plans went belly up given our toddler’s surprise fever. — 23 days ago
A local Sonoma choice while in Concord, CA. Shale on the nose and smooth lemon citrus on the taste buds. Everything I want my Chardonnay to be. Enjoy with Lala and Nonna at Paso del Rio over a cheese, pickles, and fig plate. Bacchus approves — 4 months ago
Much lighter in color than a typical Sancerre and not as much body as you’d hope or expect. More alcohol forward on the nose and palate. Must serve chilled to not be in the disappointed state we find ourselves. — 4 months ago
Had low expectations but pleasantly surprised. Very light with hint of apple at first sip. Holds well and crisp. Could really enjoy this in the summer heat with a cheese and fruit board. — a month ago
Delicious notes on the nose and dark berries and oak on the palate. Smooth. Enjoyed outside a cool summer night in the east bay with grilled meats. — 3 months ago
The go to wine of my young 20s. It’s still a great bang for the buck. Medium bodied and versatile, it’s peppery on the nose and palate. Like in life, give it a minute to breathe and you’ll be rewarded with hints of dark berries. Maybe even black cherry… — 4 months ago
Strong and rich on the nose. Needed some time to open up and let the alcohol dance itself out to expose the ripe flavors of Bacchus. Ends spicy and dry apropos for a rigatoni alla puttanesca. Not worth the price tag. — 6 months ago

If you want a light to medium bodied Pinot Noir, this 2022 family vineyard reserva may be for you. However, don’t have Russian River Pinot Noir in mind as you smell and taste or else you’ll be left asking questions… — 13 days ago
