Colour is mid lemon to pale gold. The blend is 76% Sauvignon Blanc and 24% Semillon. Fermentation in barrel, no malolactic. The Savvy Blanc makes its presence felt with aromas of tropical fruits. Barb said Guava and she knows guava from when she was a child. On nose and palate. Also honeysuckle. Still very fresh - the oak has melded perfectly with the fruit. Acid is medium minus; the texture is unctuous. Have the last one in the next year or so. — 2 years ago
A beautiful blend that somehow shows each element while being nicely integrated. Rich, round, Semillon and bright, floral and citrusy Sauvignon Blanc. Highly age-worthy — 13 days ago
Blend of 90% Sauvignon Blanc with 5% Semillon and 5% Sauvignon Gris, aged 50% new oak. Medium lemon color with aromas of stone and tropical fruits, citrus and blossom with spicy notes. On the palate flavors of peach, pear and pineapple with slight citrus and honeysuckle adding pepper spice. Long finish, balanced acidity, ending with a fruit, oak and chalky mineral spice character. — 5 months ago
Classic semillon on the nose, but a lovely balanced chalk and dried lemon palate — 3 years ago

See previous Delectable note in December 2024. Amazingly pale for a 14 year old white. Aromatics of lemon, lanolin and wet straw. It hasn’t yet developed the toasty characters I was expecting, indicating still a long life ahead. Overall this is delicate on a light bodied leanish palate. Only 11% ABV. Lovers of big buttery Chardonnay may not appreciate this wine. 3 bottles left - I will try and have the next one in 12 to 18 months. — 24 days ago
