Soft, not too dry. A little bit if fresh hay and vanilla. And a buttery after taste. Worked with stuffed clams, but I'm thinking seafood linguini or poached fish. I hope I can find more.

I really missed drinking white Bordeaux. Nice and complex. Went through several moods. Semi-sweet. Dry. A bit long on the finish.

Normally I would never describe a white wine as being chewy, but this wine is chewy. It’s got some lovely velvety tannins from the Semillon. And the Sauvignon Blanc give it sparkle. Meyer lemon and limes on the nose. Vanilla and hint of brown sugar on the front. The medium tannic structure adds an understated solidity to this wine. Grapefruit high notes on the top of the palate and on the finish, with a return of the vanilla as I swallow. This is the setting sun in the glass that Emily Dickinson wrote about.
