Medium deep garnet , pretty bricking rim . Quite deep fruits still , mix of red and dark fruits , sweet spice and a touch mineral , stony note , nori , black tea , dried herbs. Quite rich with nice dark fruits , touches of spice and dried herbs , quite rustic and present tannins , good balancing acidity. Nice length . This can go further , tastes really quite young , now with time in the glass and over the next 5-10 years . Better than expected . — 6 months ago
Wait…I need a moment to compose myself! Yessir… bright limpid lemon yellow. Restrained young nose… touch of green stem… until you taste. Then all hell breaks loose! Light in texture, but the crash of lemon, straw, unripe pear, and gooseberries arrives like a tsunami. Can’t help but smile… the wine’s complexity and playful zest overwhelms me…. As it warms the wine arrives like an old lover and whisks you away. Holy hell… where has this grape been all my life. Smooth, silky, caressing on the finish. Glad I have five more. Really quite nice. Opened 7 hours ahead and decanted 3 hours ahead. I feel like oddero has a reputation for being a bit rough around the edges, but this is actually in a relatively seamless place. Nice earth, restrained fruit, lots of acid, refreshing finish. — 3 months ago

Cola and rose aromas, sweet tobacco and dried cherry shimmer with cilliate violet strands, and seared meat. Eucalyptus awash in tannins rakes the palate initially before softening to black and bing cherries, allspice, cinnamon and cedar. Clove puts the spice over the top in a food-worthy wine that checks every Barolo box and then some.
