Had a hard time putting my finger on what kept me from getting into this particular bottle of #Barbaresco...
In the end, it’s as @James Forsyth explained (I paraphrase): “It’s tightly wound, and understandably so, considering its age. Ideally we’d drink this later, or give it an hour+ to open up, but who has the time to wait to drink?”
