What an unexpected gem. At first whiff, there’s oyster shells and ripe citrus. Pears and melon with ocean spray. Apricots and streaks of honey. Occasionally these Muscadet wines can be a tad boring or uninteresting so I really appreciate that this one announces itself right out of the gate.
This appears to be light and breezy at first but then displays a richer body. Very saline and a load of minerality, especially for a Melon de Bourgogne. Gravely, in a good way. Lemon and brine in the mouth, along with thyme and more oyster shells. Easily one of my favorites of the varietal. — 4 months ago

Last day of CNY at Arthur’s house. Smoky, flinty nose. Smokiness hits hard on palate. Ripe lemons. Balanced and elegant. — 4 months ago
Second best white wine of the year (so far)!
Smooth, perfectly chilled and very easy to drink…well balanced, crisp fruit, not buttery…. — 3 months ago
