A #Tuscan #Sangiovese is always a right choice when there is Bolognese on the table. Beautiful red colour, dry and tannic on the tongue; other notes include leather and dark fruit. Smooth acidity and mid-high alcohol level. Weekend wine which is good for a few days, also paired well with a pizza. — 3 years ago
A so very #tuscan #sangiovese but a slightly lighter and more acidic wine than typical Chiantis. It needs time to open up but wild cherry, bramble fruit, bit of forest floor aromas, pretty bracing acidity countered by some amped up yet elegant tannins. Interestingly, it ends up working quite well as I enjoy this totally "un-jammy" wine.

Typical, but excellent #tuscan Montelpulciano d'Abruzzo. — 3 years ago
