Bird and the bottle, Tulsa. Fruit forward. Bright. Young. Very good with the fried chicken special. Good QPR.

A solid table wine. Not particularly memorable but also not bad.

In my experience, you really can’t go wrong with #tuscan #sangiovese blend for pairing with stone-fired pizza. Deep, luxuriant cassis and spicy-earthy nose on this one, great acidity and some furry tannins.

Bright raspberry and strawberry. Light but surprisingly long finish. Evolved into rich earthiness. Definitely open for 30 mins first. Drank with Kane, etc.

Rich, complex Tuscan blend (Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah) with mild spice (menthol?). Very dry, high tannin and acidity, at Papa Razzi in Back Bay, Boston
