Vintage 2017 / #Domina is a crossing of #spätburgunder and #blaueportugieser Most of these grapes grow in #Franken and #Ahr Germany. Very dark colour, at first it seems very quaffable and a bit frivolous. After a few minutes in the glass also tones of spices. / Partnered it with turkey liver and salad. Medium ruby color, with a garnet ring
Pronounced aromas of ripe strawberry, dried raspberry, blackberry, earth, wet leaves, tobacco, cloves, pepper, a hint of wet stones, farmyard nuance. Complex developing aromas.
The wine is dry. Acidity is medium+, tannins are medium, well integrated, silky, body is medium, alcohol is medium, flavor intensity is pronounced. Ripe strawberry, blackberry, tea leaves, earth, a hint of chocolate. The barrel do well integrated! Finish is medium+;.
For me it's outstanding! The balance, complexity, length and intensity.
Drink now, suitable for aging.
