Klosterbrauerei Neuzelle GMBH
Anas Geheimnisse Bock Bier
Deutschland
Creamy headed loop to soup. Dissipating mushroom and bones lacing sliding to obscurity. Pot roast-brown bread nose with Shepherd’s pie asides and resurgence of carrot. Lemon rings the creamy open. Lime and lemongrass double take through sweet tea. Dinner roll with micro caramel glaze. Bread is not the head, rather the moccasins that tiptoe in.

Volnay, Marsannay style floral (roses and hints of Geranium) better nose than palate. Hints of raw meat, high acidity but balanced with the ripe fruit. Long finish. One of the best #pinotnoir I’ve had from #Germany #vdp #vdpgrosselage #gg — 5 years ago
Dark amber with auburn tint. White loopy head, that vanished rapidly; rainy cityscape window lacing. Cornmeal breading; corn dogs. Lemon-lime, barley, rye bread, tiny cinnamon drops, banana bread aromas. Toasty buns, pig blankets, cola, slight pepper, but with a treacle sweetness. Tasty goat meal!

MICKE presents a top cru of confusing character. Harmonious coexistence of exotic fruit flavours and the traditional #Burgundian type. This wine only will be vinified in excellent vintages with a strict limitation of bottles.

MICKE stands as a synonym for ‚#Mickeberg‘, the original designation of a #vineyard site.
thetaste
MICKE develops exotic dark berry flavours after a long-term maturation. A Pinot Noir of exceptionel character. The vineyard block offers a broad aromatic flavour world. Tannin is nearly not perceptible.

Let’s not get two overexcited here. I mean, I had high expectations for this wine because I am actually finding most #Spatburgunder from #Germany quite delicious and more affordable than burgundy, but this was a little bit too thin a little bit too tart. It was kind of lacking the depth and richness and intensity and aromas and flavors that I was hoping for so good but not great — 4 days ago
