Wow, after being disappointed by a poor showing from the 2009 bottle earlier this year, this 2011 is a stunner - immediate floral notes with earthy undertones on the nose give way to a dark cherry and subtle leather palette with a great integration between acid and some lingering tannins. What a deal for about 1/3 the price of the Palari Faro - which I️ cannot wait to try for this vintage. #QPR #Palari — 3 months ago
Wow. Lived up to the hype. Promoted by no less authorities than @Carl Fischer and @Isaac Pirolo. The hype is real.
Many have suggested that this is Napa meets Spain. For me it's Mollydooker takes a Spanish vacation.
Bold and unctuous. Full tilt. Very high #QPR — 5 months ago
I was very skeptical of this wine. I know Beaujolais is the best qpr red around but how would the chard be? For a neutral grape that is a reflection of the winemaker this wine is a grand slam. Crisp acidity, banana peal, and bruised green apple jump out of the glass. The finish is harmonious and savory. Paired with lunchtime board this baby ramped up further. #qpr — 7 months ago
Really surprised how much I like this. Starts with a bright nose. It has acid similar to a Chablis and the unripe apple, lemon, and complexity of a Beaune. Great value Chardonnay that eschews the flabbiness and oak of others in the price range. #qpr — 5 months ago
