Brunello di Montalcino

Ripe, quite juicy fruit with candied red fruit aromas. On the palate medium acidity and red fruits with medium(+) ripe tannins, sweet spice flavours and a little cocoa. very good, alcoholic finish with a medium(+) finish. Overall fruitier than other #brunello which in some respects is a good thing because I found many Brunello’s oxidized (especially the Riservas) but that comes with a trade off and this wine had less complexity and less interesting tertiary aromas and flavors and a shorter finish than other wines. The #qpr is great though. Seemed more like a premium #rossodimontalcino than a Brunello.
