Wasn’t planning to open this bottle but we needed something with a clean flinty/mineral finish to go with the Japanese New Years dishes. #happynewyear — 7 years ago
Bright, apple, pear and quince. Finishes with some breads and dough. Happy New Year! #happynewyear @P A @Michael Bleszynski @Tyler Martinelli @Sharon B @Trixie @AgeyFixey @Daniel Martinez Cardenas @"Odedi" @Kendall Johnson @Kristie M. Connor Here’s to an amazing 2019! — 7 years ago
Always surprised by how long good wines can last. I would never have called it a 20yr old wine blind. Good balance and really came alive with the fruit after 1+ hours in the decanter. Good drinking window but can still hold off for a good 3-5yrs depending on how you like your Bordeaux. #happynewyear — 8 years ago
Pulled this one out of the cellar as a backup and it never disappoints. Ready to drink from the open and the strength of the 2012 (likely a mix of 2011/2012, given when we bought it). Great mix of fruit/tannins. #happynewyear #nye2018 — 8 years ago
Always blown away by this cuvée. Intense flavors and volume to every mouthful. Toasty notes with a finish of honeysuckle. #happynewyear #NYE2018 — 8 years ago
Delicate, clean mushroom initially, turns slowly to brioche and pastry, with zinnia and magnolia-ocean and a delicate mushroom sauté. Deep lemon-lime instantly purifies and reveals layers of sublimely thin croissant flake. Lime zest and tart lemon lift airily from the glass while the biscuity elements complete the perfect cross-section of earthy root, mushroom, flower and alpine sky. Ethereal. #happynewyear #caviar #newyear #osetra #russianosetra #champagne #krug #krug166theditionbrut #kruggrandcuvée #bubbles #champagnedreams #chamagneandcaviar #2021 — 5 years ago
Still fresh but the buttery-ness is there and enjoyable. White stone fruit and some light spices as well on the palate. #happynewyear — 7 years ago
Briny lemon, dried apricot and hints of dried pineapple are eclipsed by ginkgo and light rye bread, cantaloupe and lime; Gardenia and white pepper with lillies. Exquisite mouthfeel, of tangerine, clementine, orange blossom, ripe lemon, creamy lemon panna cotta, white pomegranate seeds, olive cameo that dissipates into a sea spray and Northwest oyster with briny sweetness. #HappyNewYear #Champagne #growerschampagne #growersblend #bubbles #Palmerandcompany #Reims #brutréserve #brut #palmer #sparkler #frenchwines #france — 7 years ago
A little drop of liquid honey to get NYE started. All the best to my Delectable pals for a great 2018 and an even better 2019!!!#happynewyear — 7 years ago
Clean and fresh early but followed up with a bit of depth and subtle oak. #happynewyear — 8 years ago
This bottle is in a very good place. A hint of development and the flavors and acidity are rounding out well. We enjoyed it a bit more on the chilled side. Also going strong on day 2. #happynewyear #nye2018 — 8 years ago
Luzzery! Esserfessance! #happynewyear — 9 years ago
Balanced but almost to a fault. Probably some bottle variance here but it doesn’t leave a big impression. Wet stones... not that I know what they taste like... graphite and elegant flavors of dried roses, forest floor, plum and cassis. #happynewyear — 7 years ago
Light toasty notes on the nose with hints of spices. Lightly oxidized in the Selosse style which just leaves you with a finish that goes on for ages and ages.... one of the best bottles I’ve had. #happynewyear
Good chance this is my wine of the year despite it being the first week of Jan. — 7 years ago
Light on the palate with flavors of stone fruit and hints of brioche. Medium length finish of citrus. #happynewyear — 7 years ago
Semi-sweet and quite bubbly #happynewyear — 7 years ago

Still very young and fruit forward as you would expect. Pop and drink! #happynewyear — 8 years ago
Unfortunately on the downside now and the flavors are starting to fade. However, it’s still elegant but we actually decide to pair it with the cheese instead of the big steak which was the right call. No need to decanter, but it took about 30mins in glass/bottle to let its flavors really open, then started to fade. #happynewyear #nye2018 #birthvintage — 8 years ago
"Odedi"
This is the ultimate #FridayCabernetfix day, isn't it? #HappyNewYear
This is a beautiful Double Magnum from Napa Valley.
Full bodied and smooth with medium acidity.
Showing black fruits with tobacco, cedar, vanilla, licorice, peppercorn, chocolates, coffee and light earth.
Long finish with firm tannins.
Rich and bold with a nice mouthfeel. Still young, but already delicious.
This 6 year old, from the 2015 vintage, is extracted and in your face kind of wine, that needs at least 15 years in the bottle. Showing great complexity already, with a great mouthfeel.
Robert Parker 94 points.
Good right out of the bottle and better with airtime, which I did not have. This double Magnum finished so quickly.
A really nice wine to have all by itself.
100% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes were aged in 100% new oak barrels. A small production of only 175 cases.
15.1% alcohol by volume.
95 points.
