This is a beautiful Double Magnum from Napa Valley.

Full bodied and smooth with medium acidity.

Showing black fruits with tobacco, cedar, vanilla, licorice, peppercorn, chocolates, coffee and light earth.

Long finish with firm tannins.

Rich and bold with a nice mouthfeel. Still young, but already delicious.

This 6 year old, from the 2015 vintage, is extracted and in your face kind of wine, that needs at least 15 years in the bottle. Showing great complexity already, with a great mouthfeel.

Robert Parker 94 points.

Good right out of the bottle and better with airtime, which I did not have. This double Magnum finished so quickly.

A really nice wine to have all by itself.

100% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes were aged in 100% new oak barrels. A small production of only 175 cases.

15.1% alcohol by volume.

Deep lemon-lime instantly purifies and reveals layers of sublimely thin croissant flake. Light toasty notes on the nose with hints of spices. Lightly oxidized in the Selosse style which just leaves you with a finish that goes on for ages and ages.... one of the best bottles I’ve had. #happynewyear
