I didn’t find it particularly interesting when I tried it with Coravin, but that’s because it’s a full bodied wine with high tannins that should be decanted. Today I’m tasting it with a stewed roast and it is delicious. Deep ruby color = #alicantebouschet #syrah and #touriganacional warm climate #alentejo medium+ aromas with ripe red cherries, ripe raspberry and red plums. Balsamic touches and on the palate it’s dry with medium acidity and medium+ ripe tannins. Medium+ finish. — 5 years ago

#alicantebouschet And #cabernet really give this wine its identity. #alentejo heat and power with finesse. Black fruit and sweet spice on the nose, cherries and plums and cinnamon. Flavor profile on the palate in sync with the nose. Obvious oak influence. Tannins still a little scratchy. Can age for many years now until 2020 easily. — 9 years ago
