👃🏻 buena potencia, toffee, vainilla, fruta roja madura 👄 buena entrada, potente pero equilibrado, muy agradable y con un final cargado pero no desagradable.

Deep deep purple. Light smoke and ripe strawberry on the nose. Pungent and tangy on first, very juicy grapes - medium to full mouthfeel then thins out - tart cherry with a quick finish. Really like this

A brawny, if slightly gamey and wild blend of Alicante Bouschet, Aragonez, Trincadeira, and Cabernet Sauvignon. The 2013 Esporão Reserva Tinto is all plums, spice, vanilla and earthiness. In the mouth, it really shows it's heft, with equal doses of tart sour cherry and raw cranberry-esqe acidity dowsed in firm tannins and a bit of heat on the back palate, no doubt owing to its 14.5% ABV. While this may not sound terribly palatable given the description, it's a wine that will do well paired with meaty dishes. Sample

One of the better values out there in red wine as this drinks well above is cost with a nod to the old world in a new world way.

Slightly bitter, grapey, chocolate, later alcohol notes with more fruity taste. Good blend but nothing spectacular

#Alentejo wine. Bold red in colour. Unmistakable Portuguese tannins, few smoky notes, noticeable dark berry on the tongue and a great aromatic experience thanks to the long term aging.

Had the 2013 red in NH. Good, dry, tiny bit spicy but well-rounded.
