Gave some friends a pair of tickets to a wine tasting. This was one of the wines they tasted and they thought we’d enjoy it. They were right. Nice thank you gift. — 7 months ago
A very nice BdB made in an oxidative style - ripe yellow & red apples, bruised apples, subtle shortbread & brioche, a hint of fresh hazelnuts. Rich, evolved, so nice.
Very fine mousse on the palate, persistent bubbles, beautifully balanced with just a touch of residual sugar adding a nice creaminess on the palate.
This is truly a nice sipping bubbly. — 2 years ago
Been waiting to try this producer for ages, didn’t disappoint; electric tropical fruit and florals on the nose, ripe guava, then tastes zingy and even with great grip and distant bitterness at the end, so good to see someone getting this style just right without any crazy notes putting the whole thing off course. — 3 months ago

And now the white. Actually a lot of the same profiles as the orange but without the tannic grip stuff, kinda not what I want from a white and on the edge of VA but still intriguing if kept cold. — 3 months ago
Funkiness just to the edge but not beyond in my book. Otherwise a decently balanced profile on the rustic side. — 4 months ago
Really quite nice especially for the price. Need to drink more cab franc with burgundy prices continuing to climb. Quite generously fruited - but less of the green peppery note I was expecting. Drying tannins on the slightly chunky finish, but still refreshing with good acid. Nice pairing with roast chicken thighs with olives and feta. — 9 months ago

Opened yesterday, drank over 2 days.
The nose is very fruity and intense with dark cherry touches, earthy notes, some raspberry and blackberry scents too. I could even smell some peony notes too. This is really inviting. The palate is wide and long and quite complex. A good acid drive, some dark cherry notes all along, some very soft and easy going mouthfeel that is changing in mid palate with a great tannic wall, which adds a layer of dust over an otherwise quite juicy and fruity finish. In the back-end though, there is a tiny savoury note that pops along with a subtle bitterness. This is really my kind of cab franc. Really good stuff! — 2 months ago
