Nice, smooth, but also interesting — 4 months ago

Lithe & supple, with agility and resonance. This is the Leonard Cohen of Gamay! Hallelujah!🙏 — 7 months ago
[Tasted on November 23, 2025 at Home]
Purchased during October 2019 visit to winery in Paso Robles. 40% Syrah; 25% Grenache; 24% Mourvèdre; 8% Petit Verdot; 3% Graciano. Strawberry, watermelon, white peach and mandarin orange fruit, with notes of rose petal, herbs de Provence and saline. — 9 months ago
Fabulous buttery oaky finish. We enjoyed a 2019 fist which was richer than the 2021 reserve — 2 years ago
Beautiful golden color. Toast, lemon pith, slate, bright acidity. Chablis meets champagne in California? A great food sparkler. — 4 months ago
Good Oregon Pinot. Bright fruit, earth, and herbal tea. — 5 months ago
Will be delicious for many more years. Very juicy and full of complex earthy flavors. — 7 months ago
Christmas Day wine 🎄🎅🏼🍷
Acquired this for two reasons: Flora Springs was my “a-ha” wine 10yrs ago which started my wine journey, and secondly because it’s my sister-in-law’s birth year.
Enjoyed on Christmas Day (with said sister-in-law) and family (the family who introduced me to wine + Flora Springs). Kept the bottle standing for a few days. In the glass, there was bricking but the color was much more vibrant than expected. Aromatically, it showed mushroom and fig, but a good bit of muddled red and black berry fruit, some mint as well. Alive, elegant and bright on the palate with good tannin structure (held strong the two hours it was open). Small hint of tobacco at the finish, but the berry fruit stayed persistent keeping the flavors balanced. Undeniably older Napa (13%) and in great shape. — 2 years ago

A superb Zinfandel blend that tastes great now and possesses the requisite structure to age. Ridge sets the standard in American winemaking. Their corpus of high quality wines is unmatched in America and challenges the entire industry worldwide. — 2 months ago
This 1998 7 Springs Pinot seems mature, supple, candied red fruits, nice balance, good length, but not quite a typically-excellent bottle of this wine. — 3 months ago
Epic. Balanced. Pear/apple/floral- but not too much acid… just enough to keep things fresh. — 5 months ago

This punches above its weight class. Having had the estate cuvée and cote bottles, this feels a peer. Big deep fruits. Smooth all the way through. Loved it — 3 years ago

Excellent wine to go with an excellent show! Enjoyed this bottle while watching Matt Mauser and the Reno Jazz Orchestra play at Sand Harbor SP. — a month ago
