Been a very long time and this is showing so so well. Nose is mid season cherries, cranberry bog, desiccated orange rind, slate and soil tones. So deep and soulful. Palate is like a cloud. So juicy but lithe and ethereal. Really floats but has stunningly persistent acidity and such purity. Wonderful. Elegant and balanced. Gorgeous wine. Sweetened up overnight and got so much more focused. 9.3 to 9.4. — 8 days ago
Interesting red (I believe 100% Pinot) from a producer I respect. Restrained, at 11.5% and with some slight stemmy notes. Nice cherry. Refreshing and invigorating on the finish. Enjoyed and a nice contrast with heavier more extracted wines. — 5 months ago
Nice and quite Apple-y. Acid is there, but not at all overwhelming. Quite balanced in general. Good full mouthfeel while still being light on its feet. — 18 days ago
This some juice. Beautiful light oak imparted in the best possible way. Slight vanilla, tart cherries, blackberries, leafy, woodsy, just perfect for this transitory season.
