A stunning bottle of Mosel Pinot. Deep, penetrating nose of dark cherry, slate, moss, mid season cherry, black cherry and some blackberry flower. Tree bark and such complexity. Has more to tell that is for sure. Wild mint starts to develop. Palate is deep and structured with amazing sap and density and Grand Cru grip and structure. Pure, balanced and lovely black and red cherries with velvety tannins that are perfectly ripe. So pure and so deep. Incredible length and sap. Finish is a mineral wash and accented with blackberries and darker red cherries. This is young but very promising. So long and such well defined fruit. — 3 years ago
This is such a seductive wine. It opens lush and creamy, with exuberant peach, asian pear, mango, and pineapple notes which dance around the palate. The opulence is abruptly and violently washed away by a Tsunami of acidity and mouth puckering citrus tones which power a long, resonant finish with stony mineral flavor. It is so silky, so powerful, and so light. An arresting combo. The nose was similarly exciting with a vivid floral top note. The QPR at $24.95 is off the charts, and I am going back for many more — 5 months ago
Zesty but has a brioche undertone. Green apple, lively bubble — 2 years ago
Interesting! Bright notes of cherry, light yet medium body. — 5 months ago
I’ve only experienced quality Spatburgunder with Enderle & Moll, so tasting this Savio Soares import ( in proper Pinot stemware) felt like another revelation. Peppery & fresh, but enough mid weight to accompany a burger & a green gazpacho, & enough layers & acidity to keep it interesting. Gorgeous. — 3 years ago

Finally got to try one of these with some bottle age. Maybe my favorite wine in their lineup; super unique. Unlike any Pinot blanc anywhere and really shares more with Riesling from the konzer tälchen than anything. Beautiful, crystalline stuff. — 2 months ago
