Nose has rising bread dough, bruised yellow apple, oxidized yellow apple and moist chalk.
Palate has dried ginger, risen bread dough, under-ripe yellow apple, oxidized apple peel, superb mineral core and very long finish with lightly sweet, buttered popcorn. Just wow, love the vintage offers from P-F!
We're enjoying our first fire in the chimenea on this cool late summer evening, just one of many to come the rest of the year.
24 Hour Update: Still the same, still bubbling, perhaps a little more depth to the oxidized apple note, but just beautiful. — a month ago
Just concluded our annual Fall seclusion at our cabin in the Rangeley lakes region of Maine, mobile service up there is mostly non-existent, after several days I am posting again. Notes are somewhat brief, as my focus is relaxing and watching the Common Loons swimming and diving in the cove in front of our camp.
Nose has baked yellow apple, yeasty baked bread, limestone gravel and citrus peel.
Palate has yellow cherry, lemon rind, moist sourdough bread and hint of sweetness on the long finish.

Compelling. Clear Blue-ruby. Quiet nose- sweet red cherries and strawberries, neutral on florality and herbs. Clean. Medium bodied. Tart and pure red fruit including red raspberry balsamic vinegar on palate with a healthy undercurrent fine grit tannins and earth. Great interplay between tart and mineral that resolves silky and balanced. — 15 days ago

Saffran, melon, russin, apelsinskal! Livets vin — 23 days ago
Medium bodied. Initially a bit of strong alcohol, but it eventually evens out. A small bit of sweetness and fruit begins to peek through. Not highly complex, but good drinkability, with nice weight to it. — 8 days ago
Too busy enjoying company and an end-of-summer caprese to think too hard about notes on this one. Fresh and lively with some texture and depth. Fruit and florals. Chablis-like but with less electricity. This is a great deal at $25. @Vineyard Gate Selections, LLC always hooking up the Pico. — a month ago
