Good but not my favorite style — 2 months ago
Animale, iron, iodine, very mineral as well, great redfruits, wonderful acidity, very long, lingering finish, frankly a great St. Joseph, first time I’ve had this wine, but I think @Tom Casagrande nailed it in his review of the 2018!! — 12 days ago

One of the bolder Pinots. Notes of cherries, currants, and licorice. Light tannins. Very clean. Really good wine. — 3 months ago
2014 on Thanksgiving 2025… what a special bottle which opened up nicely in the glass. — 16 days ago
Leather followed by juicy cherry finishes with tobacco. Complex, long finish. Really good at this time. Didn’t need to open much — a month ago
Perhaps it was a mistake to drink this after a glass of the KS Barolo but seemed a bit overweight and lacking in acidity without the layers of complexity I expect in a #chateauneufdepape. It may have come down to insufficient time to aerate. — 4 months ago

Opening granite crown is always a treat. So much warmth and spice left in it, a marvel as this was the first vintage that Gideon bottled I believe — 8 days ago
