Really liked this full bodied red blend from Portugal. 2018 vintage on 7/4/21. Happy 4th of July! — a month ago
Bready in its breadth and then you take a breath and get the apricot and maybe some mango peel.
Whoosh. After understanding my palate, the homies at Frankly have listened and pointed me to a wonderful bottle. What an adventure. I feel seen.
Waxy, slightly effervescent. Refreshing. I’ll say it again. Refreshing as can be. Well worth the wait after a long run in the heat. Edging on orange, but stopping short of zesty and taking a detour to somewhere along Chenin’s spectrum. Minerality.
Really love this idiosyncratic blend. Something new.

Made only in exceptional years, an excellent example of the Touriga Nacional grape, medium Ruby with aromas of dark berry fruits, herb and floral spice, aged for 12 months in new and used French oak. On the palate flavors of blackberry and black cherry with notes of cedar, herb and baking spice. Fine ripe tannins, medium+ finish ending with fruit, oak and earthy spice. — 5 days ago
Dusty cherries, dried raspberries, a healthy pinch of dried herbs.
Bone dry, fresh, juicy, with a mineral backbone.
Brilliant rosé - for sipping and with food. — 10 days ago
Supebly smooth berryish wine — a month ago
Dirty, dusty red fruit - red currant, raspberry, rose hip, but also a whiff of blood orange with a mineral core underneath, fresh & slightly funky.
Bone dry on the palate, with persistent bubbles, juicy fruit and a slight touch of tannins. The irony, bloody character of Baga shines through.
Unorthodox, delicious stuff. Brilliant with food. — 10 days ago
