Though young and subdued the wine wakes with an hour in a decanter revealing white flower aromas, lemon, apple, subtle oak elements, white peach and light green herbs. 98% shiraz, 2% cab. Ruby in color, with a unique nose. Flavors of dark fruit, black currant, spices, and oak. Bold and well balanced with a little extra dryness, which I loved. Simply fabulous and impossible to fully describe. One of my top wines. — 2 months ago

Quite light garnet wide terracotta , garnet rim. Quite a lot of dry spice , nutmeg , star anis , red cherry, raspberry , red currant , earthy hints . After a while a bit more leafy , smoky on the nose. On the palate this is quite light and direct in style , raspberry , red cherry and those earthy , granite touches . This has fresh acidity and fine , light tannins . Reasonable earthy , spiced finish . Certainly ready and on this showing will probably last ok another 5 or so years. Not the most complex , overall I found it a little pedestrian, but still showing ok , but no need to wait any longer , I don’t see this improving . — a month ago

Dark ruby color. Called the “Baby Grange” for a reason. Wonderful nose with aromas of dark fruit and spice. Dry and bold with medium+ tannins. Flavors of black fruit, mocha, toasty notes, and oak. Balanced acid with a wonderful finish. Great wine for the price. — 2 months ago
