Dark and brooding, with an intense quite savory palate with hints of mint, black pepper, and a touch of tar and well integrated oak. This has loads of character and good intensity. Excellent.

Oct 10th, 2026Menthol.. Soft resolved cherry. Plum. Some black pepper. Slightly cloudy but perhaps I should have let it settle more. Lovely poise and balance. Re-corked at Grange in 2007.

May 27th, 2023this is lovely. Some mint. Soft and supple, pretty cherry fruit but some tangy edges. So pretty and complete- at peace with itself. Delicious. Jef ROPP
