Block B Paso Robles Syrah 2018

2018 vintage. 100% syrah. Willow Creek District. Paderewski Vineyard. Heavy body. Multi-faceted nose. Price has crept up substantially so it is no longer a QPR/bang for the buck darling but is still rocking at full volume. Sometimes, you gotta drop the coin for the concert. 5.29.24. — 5 days ago

@Doug Powers I purchased a case of that for $32 a bottle direct from Australia. The first 5-6 years they drank exactly as you described. I thought time would help them calm down so I stashed them away and they all went downhill. Happy your bottles turned out well.

Red Rock Terrace Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 1984

Red cherries, currants, tobacco
Juicy despite its age but still silky and smooth. I’ll be thinking about this magnum for a very long time. A Napa Cab that tastes like a Burgundy after time. Simply perfect!
