A solid Douro blend. Smoothed Tannins. Bright. A nice pairing with beef tacos. September 2022. — 4 years ago
Glorious length, palate-staining. Not fat but very pure & forceful waves of citrus, stone-fruit, minerals. Plenty of acidity, could age more — no idea which way the flavor profiles evolves. — 5 years ago

Nice and balanced, not overly sweet or acidic — 9 years ago
Still young and tight, very concentrated and tasty. Give it time and it will be special — 9 years ago
My first experience of Portuguese wine , as for most people my age was fortified Port. Amazing that the same flavour DNA is so strong with this Dry Red without the high alcohol. Savoury dry cherry with liquorice. Drink now or cellar short term. — 9 years ago
With portugaise cheese and saucissons.. looking at the sunset of Porto!
Amazing! So good! — 2 years ago

Made from low yielding 90-year old vines, deep Ruby with aromas of red/black fruits and floral spice. On the palate flavors of blackberry and plum with cacao, black pepper and floral citrus. Firm tannins on a long finish ending with fruit and mineral character. Nice but needs a few years in big the bottle!! — 6 years ago
Drinking this in Lisbon on a hot day. Served with tuna ceviche 👏💯 — 8 years ago
The Portuguese are teaching me at least that blending many vines with passion can produce exquisite experiences: refined, good body, smooth Ramon’s for a young wine, robust color l, varying aromas-really changing constantly!!! — 9 years ago
GL Portugal tasting 2/15/17. Nose with violets and savoriness that seemed to have opened up with time. At first more fruit driven. Palate that's really complex and yummy. More complex than'13 which suffered from a heat wave. 60% new oak and. Only 48 bottles left! — 9 years ago
Expressive nose with waxy lemons, a bit of matchstick reduction, some brioche. There’s also some white peach, white flowers. Quite complex. Rich and yet fresh. Intriguing & enticing.
Beautiful texture on the palate, love the mouthfeel. Layered, quite rich, impeccably balanced & poised.
Very elegant. Slightly creamy texture balanced by racy, juicy acidity. Yellow stone fruit in the back. And a long, saline finish.
Somehow I didn’t like it a year ago, maybe it was a bad bottle.
This is really signing! — a year ago
80% Baga with 20% Touriga National blended in. Only made in select vintages. Dark ruby color throughout. Bright and concentrated red fruit notes on both the nose and palate. Hints of red flowers, baking spices, minerals, garrigue and tobacco. Extremely long finish. Beautiful balance even at 18 years of age. Acidity and tannins have harmonized beautifully. Fresh tasting and still quite powerful. I do not understand why the Baga grape has such a poor reputation. Every Quinta de Foz de Arouce wine made from this grape that I have had the pleasure of tasting has been exceptional. — 3 years ago
Crisp. Great on the nose. Perfection. — 8 years ago
So smooth! Medium bodied with nice finish 👏🏼 — 9 years ago
Needs to be chilled a bit, good flavor, blend of 20 grape varieties, smoky but still seems light — 9 years ago

Dense purple color, dark fruits, quite structured/tannic, needs further cellaring (3-5 years?), long finish, very good!! — a month ago
