Twenty grape Portuguese Red Blend utilizing fruit from three different regions. Thus, “Three Valleys”. Dark cherry, vanilla and smoke on the nose. Pallet of cherry compote, baking spices and burnt oak (Not in a bad way). Nice balance, medium body and smooth tannins. Great QPR.

GL Portugal tasting 2/15/17. Nose more earth and weight than Rufo with dark red fruits and palate that's complex and balanced with fruit and earth and minerals and very long finish with hints of dustiness. Older vineyards more varieties. Very nice. $24 great value. 35-90 yrs old vines foot trodden. 20 varietals. 9.0. 35-40 K bottles.
