Fun wine. Aromatics of cherry liqueur, dark chocolate, ripely squeezed raspberries, blueberries and blackberries with some Mexican vanilla on the nose. Unabashed and no prisoners on the palate...a flavor bomb that has mellowed as it’s a bit stewed, but it’s smooth and integrated at this point. Drink up. Thanks @joe leatherwood — 2 days ago
Go Australia! Loving this petit Verdot - wonderful! This was bottle number two and followed one of my favorites and it held its own 🍷 — 6 days ago
Delicious sparkling from Brazil. Citric fruits, white flowers and fresh bread notes. Decent alcohol balance and refreshing acidity. This wine is made using the champenoise method and honestly it literally tastes as good any champagne from France or Franciacorta from Italy. — 5 days ago
Petrol, oily and yellow fruits, very ripe and ready drop right bow. Amazing on fried chinese food — 24 days ago
Exceptionally good Shiraz. The soft tannins and full mouthfeel back up the strong plum and dark chocolate aroma. It keeps on giving after it has been swallowed with a lingering oak wood finish that kept me coming back for more. Would definitely buy again. — 13 days ago
Fully resolved tannin, generosity of fruit and strong colour.
To me, the best wines are the ones you don’t expect anything from.
When you’re paying $XXX and hold high expectations there are too many variables to not align.
When a 13yo $20 bottle from my parents kitchen comes through with the goods that is one of life’s simplest pleasures. — a month ago
Simple nose of dried plum, forest berries, clove, and vanilla bean. Rich and round, with a touch of heat. Oak driven spice meets ripe dark berries and currant fruit. Drink now. Pair with a fire and dark chocolate. — 8 days ago
V14. Very good. Smoked bacon nose. Rich black cherry and blackberry fruit. Dry, slightly astringent, black pepper and mocha finish. Nicely balanced. — 7 days ago
