Seems to have lost a little crispness over 5-1/2 years but still quite good with long finish — 3 months ago
Pretty darn close to old school Napa. — 3 years ago
Smooth slight pineapple but not too tart. Buttery, but not too sweet. Refined. — 2 months ago
I liked the uncharacteristic subtle sweetness from plum and dark fruits. Add a touch of leather and vanilla, soft tannins, and this one was smooth. Good stuff! — 5 months ago
Beautiful wine. Wish I was having it with the person who introduced me to Riesling. Honey, lemon, citrus, petrol but very light Emilie would love this if you read this try it — 7 months ago
Unbelievable — 4 years ago
In a world of pinot grigio, this had surprising character that stood out. Refreshing as PG should be, but offering good citrus and honey tastes, with fuller body. Perhaps a step child of a chardonnay field? Yummy. Recommend. — 6 years ago

Weeknight treat. Medium body, creme brulee on nose and some custardy finish but great acid. Just so many great things to love in this chardonnay. I still prefer Ma Belle Fille — 6 months ago
Really nice starting to get some secondary flavors. Overall enjoyed it. — 8 months ago
25 year anniversary of this wine. I have been a Peter Franus fan for a long time. This zin is medium ruby, black and white pepper, clove, cedar, red cherry, vanilla on the nose--the wood is definitely pushing through, but not overpowering. On the palate, more blue/black fruit emerges, blackberry mainly. Tannins still pretty dry, alcohol high. I think this can rest even longer but it's great now too. Awesome!!!
