Vintage 2019 | Popped and poured to savour during the Liberation concert at Dutch Liberation day. Good old school Rioja. Tempranillo and 4% Graciano. 24 m barrel aging and 12 m aging in bottle before it comes on the market. Elegance and structure. Vanilla and spicyness in smell. Also mocca. Fine acidity and spices in taste. But also fruit, fresh cherries. Paired with some old goats cheese. — a year ago

Bought at Pine Orchard 10/21, $36 Santa Maria Valley, Santa Barbara County and tasted with Las Alturas Pinot. Lighter, brighter, fruitier style Pinot. — 3 years ago
Our bottle doesn’t say Petite Syrah, just “red wine”. Bought from Treasury employee store at a nice discount. Tasted more expensive wines that weren’t as good as this one. — 4 years ago
Very sleek and smooth Sangiovese wine with Merlot as the background grape. Black cherry, some herbal elements and a medium finish that feel appropriate for this well made wine. — a month ago
Aromas of blueberry, black currant, lavender and rose petals. Earthy graphite and savory herb favors with hints of spice and cocoa powder in the glass. Creamy and fine grain tannin finish. Could have aged for another 20 years easy. — 3 months ago
100% Syrah. This is a very inexpensive Cotes but 2019 was a banner year. Velvety and full bodied. Notes of black cherry, graphite and cocoa powder. Medium tannins brings a decent finish. Nicely paired with a spicy grilled chicken. — 8 months ago
Nose: Cherry with a hint of baking spices
Body Light body- (CS on training wheels)
Palate: Acidity forward (which could be part of the BC flavor) hints of dark fruit, like plum and blackcurrant Would pair well with: Meatball w/red sauce. Prosciutto and mozzarella cheese. Potato Skins w/bacon, and bacon wrapped scallops — 3 years ago

So freaking good. Explosion of dried flowers, plum, freeze dried strawberry, sage, other herbs, some stone. Outstanding! — a year ago
Needs a good day to open up. At first quite brutal in an unyielding way. I left this on my custom Argon line for a week. Reviewed this many times before. Absolutely delicious and driven by earth herbs and hint of red fruits. More or less for aficionados only (I don’t want to be condescending here) as so much patience is required. Drink now because i do not expect the fruit to hang on all that long. — a year ago

Interesting Zinfandel (73%) based California blend. Also includes Petite Sirah (13%), Carignan (10%), Mataro (3%) and Alicante Bouchet (1%)). Dark ruby/purple color with a slight garnet rim. Pronounced aromas of ripe red and black berries, mint, violets moist earth and wet stones. Plush flavors of black berry/raspberry/plum fruit, mulberries, cola, dried herbs and sweet baking spices. Touch of smoky black pepper spice on the long and zesty finish. Medium-plus bodied and robust with a juicy profile and soft/silky tannins. Excellent picnic wine! Memorial Day 2026. — a month ago
