Delicious BDX. Rating affirmed 8/17/23. Kermit Lynch imports never disappoint. And the 15 vintage doesn’t either. Great value. — 7 years ago

Winner of the night from the Legend Imports wine dinner at Peasant featuring a variety of beautiful wines from Australia that are not mollydooker penfolds or yellowtail.
This wine was described as Australian Montrachet and boy was that right. Anyone tasting blind would’ve picked burgundy.
Delicious. — 4 years ago
Lovely soft redfruits, great balance and restraint, a blend of 15 Rhône varietals (including white grapes), great acidity, a very fine southern Rhône rouge from a good vintage!! (Disclosure: My brother imports this wine and I am friends with Rudi, the proprietor of Montfaucon.) — 6 years ago
Negrette, cab franc, misc blend. Long carbonic maceration. Good grip and tension, with appealing reductive notes. Drinks like Hervé Souhat Syrah/gamay.

LOVE IT! $25 from North Berkeley Imports (20%off for me) — 7 years ago
Whoa Nellie-aside from fact that Roussanne is not part of my even yearly rotation, let alone white Languedoc wine, this bowled us over with its packed flavors, freshness, acidic backbone, & layers-guessing you could lay it down for 3-5 yrs if not longer. Hay, subtle lanolin ( think Chenin), white flowers. Modest viscosity, pale yellow hue. Very impressive. Hand Picked imports. — 8 years ago
Second and last of the blind white wines for our South African blind tasting. Relatively new to the US-DC market and brought in by Alyssa and Ian Red Wolf Imports. Made up of 100% Chardonnay, 100% barrel fermented and aged for nine to ten months in around 20% new French oak.
Medium yellow with a touch of oak and butter on the nose. A little bit of citrus too. Medium plus acidity (6.5/10) and rounded with a medium body. A creamy texture and mouthfeel throughout with notes of lemon zest, a touch of stone fruits and minerality. Needed to warm and some time in order to open up and lengthen. Medium plus to long finish. Would be very interesting to try with a couple years in the bottle. Drink till 2026. (92+) — 9 years ago
Really tasty, easy drinking sangria with bright orange flavor and a hint of cinnamon — 4 years ago
I bought several bottles and opened this last one about 3 years later. Nice aromas of green and stone fruits with a citrus notes. The palate shows apple, peach and pear, still crisp with good balance, fresh and lively. The finish shows nutty earthy tones. I met with the distributor, Pasternak Wine Imports a while ago who indicated this wine can be enjoyed now, but put it down for a few years, the age will benefit the wine greatly, he was right! — 6 years ago
