The wine is in beautiful condition at 10 years - still bright deep Ruby with explosive blackberry, black cherry, violet, cedar, clove and vanilla. It’s beginning to show tertiary notes of forest floor, tobacco leaf, and cigar box. It still has several years of life ahead but is captivating now. Ruby red, very good clarity. Strawberry aroma, strawberry and raspberry flavors, light skin astringency and a bit of seed bitterness on finish. Slightly tart. After 30 minutes, the lactic character comes out in the finish. — 3 months ago
