Incredible evolution in 2 hrs- closed, narrow and crisp to fully open, broad shouldered and incredibly complex- give me this juice again and give me 2 days!! — 3 months ago
Light, citrus, floral, mineral. A touch of pleasant bitterness and nice acidity. — 4 months ago
Lime lead and zest, lightly floral, major minerality and citrus, balanced sweetness, med depth. Giving off a little kerosene. Quite pleasant. — 4 days ago
Stones and rocks on the nose to accompany ripe apple, pastry cream.
Rich, full and elegant. More open on tasting than nose suggested. A different giving creature on day 2. — 3 months ago
Drinking well 14 yrs later. Lots of structure and depth here for a Cali Pinot- pretty yummy juice, decent fruit, weight and mod acid to balance things — 3 months ago
Nose is racy, deep citrus, orange zest, hint of Tang! Dusty pastry and frosting with cinnamon sprinkles. What a nose, showing better on day 2! Rich and deep, great balance, but still a little tight. Pleasant bitterness and grip that pushes this into serious rosé territory. — 8 days ago
Creamy, confectioners sugar, crisp apple and pear. Structure and lovely backbone. Yum — 3 months ago
Classic but a little one dimensional. Solid with a meal! — 3 months ago

Wow - this threw me off on initial taste - my novice palate assumed this had seen oak - but with a little more space and time with a fresh bottle suggested something with a little more brightness and citrus on the nose balanced with richness that never approached flabby. Day 2 gave me something like a Mosel Riesling Spätlese nose of citrus rind and oil matched on the palate by some viscosity. I almost sensed some Chenin Blanc beeswaxy essence and texture with honeyed floral notes. Mineral backbone, enough acid to carry its ripeness, and perhaps my only wish was a little more bubble to give some lift. I love acid but this was a joy to taste through! — a day ago
