2010 vintage is perfect now. Still some dark red fruit wet stone minerality with a long finish — 2 months ago
Nose: white flowers.
Palate: almost grunery. Wooly? Good fruit. Mineral. Well made.

Beautifully balanced pairing well with moderately spicy Indian food. Drunk, January 2025, still has room for improvement. $47 purchased at the end of 2020. — 4 days ago
An incredibly powerful, oxidative wine from Jura. The intensely nutty, salty, oily, honied flavors were magical with the “Pastured chicken, preserved lemon, garlic confit” dish which tasted braised and white-saucey.
This would also be perfect with stinky cheese! — a month ago
Refreshing. Good structure. Delicious. — 2 months ago
Had this at Beef Bar. Leather, cherries, medium/full body. — 9 days ago
Excellent depth for a CDR — a month ago
Fascinating. Like a white port or sherry. Nearly amber colored. Oxidative and reductive. Lots of wood. Hardly acidic at first but as it opens acidity goes to plus. Finishes shorter than I’d like. — 2 months ago

2023 Le Mont Sec is so full of golden Chenin character despite its pearly glint.
Close your eyes and its thick pierced red apple skin, browning cores and buckwheat honey with a strong floral character.
My favorite dynamic of sweet suggestions, dry deliverable. — 15 days ago
