Great. You get the rustic Sangiovese dust and tannins, and the lagrein jumps in to smooth things over but not detract weight, maybe even to add some richness. Lovely. Loooooong ass finish. No notes. — 3 months ago

It’s not the wine’s fault, but this was not what we were looking for. This vibe is very grapefruit pith. If that’s what you’re going for, it does a brilliant job of it. But we’d asked a wine clerk about something yeasty and brioche-y. This did not hit that mark. — 3 months ago
