Smells like burgundy and offers tart cherries and raspberry with a spicy note. pretty long. Really nice! — 7 days ago
A juicy, acidic but sweet beaujolais. It's delicious and complex. — 19 days ago
It is very pure—red raspberry, red cherry, and licorice, amped up with damp soil on the nose. The palate brings more licorice/anise/tarragon vibes, with a little lilac winking on the finish. The acid is vibrant, the tannins are dusky, and the alcohol is respectful. — 22 days ago
The 2022 Thivin Brouilly (Reverdon) delivers a savory mouthful of eye catching, ruby/purple Gamay. Though aromatically reticent (I did not decant or aerate), it is balanced and medium bodied with ample fruit, juicy acidity and soft, drying tannins at the finish. — 20 days ago
Dynamite showing. Nose is deep, layered and complex with red cherries and forest floor. Wow. Wet earth as well. Really glorious and showing so well and developed. Palate is so elegant and full of class. Rich, red cherries and a creamy mid palate lead to a super velvet finish and fruit floods the zone only to finish elegant and mineral with sweet, sappy and wispy tannins. Just a gorgeous showing. So juicy yet decadent. Really leans into the vintage. — 6 days ago
Fully mature mouth-coating herbs and tomato. Lacks freshness of most bojo but somehow works with broad mid-palate. A treat, for sure. — a month ago

From the oldest vines in Clos de la Roilette, the “Cuvée Tardive” is a special example of Fleurie. Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of two days. Consistent throughout, though it seemed to be a touch more balanced on Day 2. The 2022 “Cuvée Tardive” pours a deep ruby, with a slightly purple tinge and a near opaque core; medium viscosity with moderate staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of black cherry, pomegranate, black plum, red carnations, lavender pastilles, licorice, incense, and granite. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose, the finishes medium+. Ripe and yet remains so fresh! Drink now through 2037. — 9 days ago
