This is so ready and lovely now there's no reason to wait. Raspberry with blueberry back. Enough acidity to be almost gulpable but it's got enough weight for everything up to and including chicken. And you can taste some old vines in the background. Which gives it maturity at a young age.

I'm in two minds about this. It's delicious and it's got depth and nuance unlike most Beaujolais - indeed, unlike most wines. However there is this acetic overtone that bothers me. Most of the volatile aromatic character blows off, but it's always there on the palate. Maybe I should just try another bottle?

Edit; of course the last glass shows clean and pure, with no volatility.

Stunning. Silly fruit, confectionary, soft mouthfeel yet extremely mineral. Long. A top 14!
