Roussanne in the new would seems so underwhelming. No there there. But in the northern Rhône it’s a light saber grape. Viscous but weightless. How is that? And this golden yellow hue that I’ll never forget. — 5 years ago
Not really. Age seems to make it more weightless and ethereal. Like drinking a cloud. It doesn’t do the earth or petrol pivot one would expect from older Chard or Riesling. It’s more like a Polished Diamond. Vajra!
