Nice and light, slightly tart. — 9 months ago
Gorgeous melon on the nose, with warm pineapple and melon on the palate. Quite delish and super easy drinking! — 10 months ago
Leather and ripe red fruits on the nose. Quite vibrant! Expected a richer, darker wine but this is light and fruity, and very drinkable. We were expecting so much more, considering the price and age, but it's just an ok wine. — 10 months ago
Cherry and black pepper on the nose, with a hint of menthol (eucalyptus). More spice than fruit. And OMG. Gorgeous! Not sure if the alcohol content , but it seems higher. Fully flavored, silky mouth feel. More of the cherry with raisin, and again lots of spice. A winner!
After breathing a bit, getting strawberries and some cedar on the palate, along with the aforementioned cherry and black pepper. This is almost 15% alcohol, and it shows. I feel that the alcohol content competes with the luscious flavors, and would have been much better with lower alcohol, but California winemakers love their powerhouse wines. — 4 months ago
Lovely lemon and citrus nose. Very refreshing, with loads of lemon. Smooth finish, and super easy going down. — 9 months ago
Nice raspberry nose. Still has some tannins, with licorice and more raspberries on the palate. Still tastes young, so we'll keep the other bottle in the cellar for a while. It's an ok wine. — 10 months ago
Rich, fruity and spicy nose. And ooh! Lovely full flavor with pepper and spice! This is such a wonderful, well-balanced American version of a Rhone blend. — 8 months ago
Spicy and earthy nose, with some unidentifiable ripe red fruits. Very light and balanced, forward. Again, more ripe fruits but can't identify. — 9 months ago
Cherry and baking spices on the nose, with a touch of cedar. Slightly medicinal on the palate, almost like horehound, and a slightly baked flavor. — 9 months ago

Lovely nose of lemon, with more lemon on the palate. Creamy, with unmistakable sur lie style. (We tried this before it was just cellar temp and you could definitely taste the yeast). Beautifully balanced, slightly zingy, and wonderfully old world style. A winner! — 4 months ago
