Pomegranate, raspberry, boysenberry. Fresh and silky. Crushed violets, rose, white pepper. Really pretty. Needs time to fine tune a touch more but totally crushable now.

Gorgeous purple hue to this wine with clear rim. Medium viscosity. On the nose this was just gorgeous with ripe fruits - strawberries, plums, tart cherries, violets, rosemary and stony minerality. Confirmed them on the palate. Dry wine, medium plus acidity, medium and velvet like tannins, medium alcohol and medium plus body. Great finish with acidity all the way to the end. I probably opened it a year too soon and didn’t decant. Great Beaujolais cru and I want to drink more of this! Yum!

Wild strawberries, little furry leaves and all. Rocky. Lightest of tannin does a lot for body. Acid just where it needs to be.

Definitely recommend a several hour decant (or even better, several more years). Beautiful deep purple color in the glass. A hint of those carbonic notes on the palate but overall this is really very good with deep red berry fruit and a persistent refreshing finish with great acid. Nice pairing with cheeseburgers.
