Alte Reben trocken Riesling 2019

Mosel with content. Young with a lot of stuffing, wish I saved thisone.. for future potential. — 18 days ago

Karthäuserhofberg Riesling Trocken 2009

2009 and still youthful as hell. Exceedingly enjoyable to drink.
Honey, yellow flowers, lemon/lime zest, apricot and hints of tropical fruit balanced by wonderful acidity and a mineral salinity. With almost no detectable RS, this wine has a enjoyable viscosity/ creaminess to it—more than I expected. Medium plus finish. The slightest trace of of phenolic bitterness on the finish.
Paired with homemade green curry.

Ah yes—great Riesling but the most annoying label to capture on the app. Nice looking curry!

Spätlese Riesling 2018

Mary H

8.5% ABV - good acidity to help complement the sugar but boy is this sweet. Pineapple, apple cider, lemon curd, pomelo peel, waxy rubber in the background. Would prefer a tinge drier but tasty nonetheless. — a month ago

Ruwer Trocken Riesling 2018

Classic. Lean and light in color, lots of white flowers masked by sweaty slate on the nose. Palat what’s lots of key lime and racy acid that continues long through the finish. Great stuff. — 3 months ago

Eitelsbacher Karthäuserhofberg Grosses Gewächs trocken Riesling 2012

Gorgeous—floral aromatics, a little smoke and anise, pear, citrus, ginger and spice. Great ripeness/acidity interplay — 3 months ago

Bruno Riesling Dry 2019

Bruno by Karthäuserhof
New wine by new winemaker (Mathieu Kaufmann from Bollinger & von Buhl).
Bone dry yet unmistakably Mosel - light, mineral, with very light apples & peaches & lemon peel.
Crystal clear on the palate, poised & balancing the juicy acidity with just the right pinch of sweetness and with the unmistakable slate minerality. Begs for another sip. Delicious, mouthwatering stuff!
Can’t wait for his new Lagenweine!

Have been there in the tasting room decorated with Delft tiles. Great wines though they gotten expensive in the US and lost their Importer.
